Full Description

Mur Launcher — Live Tiles for Modern Android

Mur Launcher takes the part of Windows Phone people still miss — a tile grid that showed you things instead of icons sitting there doing nothing — and rebuilds it on modern Android. Live tiles, real widgets, Material You color, fluid gestures. Built for daily use, not nostalgia.

Mur shipped in open beta in May 2025 and reached stable release in May 2026. It runs on Android 7.1 and up across phones, tablets, and foldables — with independent layouts per device class.

What Makes Mur Different

  • Tiles that actually show something. Not icons in a different shape.
  • Dashboards fold into the tile you're already on — no app switching for a quick check.
  • Folder dashboards collect every notification from every app inside a folder, in one feed.
  • App Library sorts itself, then gets out of the way if you'd rather organize by hand.
  • Three sharp built-in themes (Material, Metro, Liquid) plus a custom theme editor and community imports.
  • Phones, tablets, and foldables can keep separate layouts — your phone setup doesn't have to follow you everywhere.
  • Mur Feed bridge brings Google Feed back to a third-party launcher.
  • Ad-free and quiet — no permissions you can't explain, no data collection.
